Mark Verry owner operator of The Bacon Sandwich Co. received some sound advice from his father a decade ago: “give the people what they want”. He listened and unsurprisingly, it worked.

The Bacon Sandwich Co. are one of the most popular stalls at the market, they’ve earned it, occupying their space for a little over 10 years! It all started quite by accident, Marks parents retirement business, selling their farm raised beef and lamb was to be his future (he and his wife planned on buying it). In the mean time he thought he’d do a little hot food stall….jump forward that little food stall is a big food stall in operation seven days a week. Mark loves his job, “selling to friends, having a laugh with good people everyday. It really is an enjoyable way to make a living”.
