Founded in 1956, Hōhepa supports people with intellectual disabilities by creating safe places to live, strong bonds to grow, and real opportunities for people to achieve their full potential.
At Hōhepa, artisan cheesemakers work with people we support to produce a range of award-winning cheeses, yoghurt and milk. The joy of involvement, achievement and learning alongside artisan craftspeople is a wonderful way for our people to grow and contribute.
Organic and regenerative farming practices are the cornerstone of our dairy enterprise. Our focus is on producing high quality milk from healthy, happy cows grazing chemical-free pastures.
Environmental sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Our milk is bottled in returnable and reusable glass bottles, and we are transitioning towards certified compostable packaging for our cheeses.
