You’d be mistaken to assume that a figgery is a seasonal stall holder at the Napier Urban and Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Markets!
Te Mata figs have turned their various varieties of organic fig into 30+ products, from preserves, bars, salami and ice cream, they’ve got all bases covered.

A favourite would have to be the Salame di Fiche, with some good blue cheese and a glass of red. Or their latest and most exciting product, the Fig Molasses, it’s a beautiful addition to salad dressing or simply drizzled over yogurt and fruit…
It’s clear that their favourite thing about the farmers’ markets is connecting with customers and talking all things fig!
