Origin Earth began business at the Hastings Farmers Market in December 2010 and continues to put great value on the direct customer feedback the market provides. “Its not just about the $$$ in the till at the end of the market, it’s the opportunities you take to follow up on customer enquiries. The Hastings Farmers’ Market has been one of our best promotion tools.

The Hastings Farmers Market is recognised NZ wide as the best, so there are often out of town chefs, restauranteurs and food store owners cruising the market.

From humble beginnings in 2005 Origin Earth now processes around 30 tonnes of cow and sheep milk each month. Most products including medal winning cheese, are available at the Farmers Market every Sunday 8.30 til 12.30 or from our factory shop which is located within Chalk n Cheese Café, 393 Te Mata Road, Havelock North.
